Throwdown Rocket League OCE Championship Returns

Throwdown Rocket League OCE Championship brought to you by McDonalds, the region’s largest and most electric competition for Rocket League returns in August.

Sydney, 3 Aug – There is plenty to play for in this fourth season from Throwdown with a prize pool of $20,000 AUD. Once again there are 2 qualification spots open for teams to become the Oceanic Champions and represent the region at the Rocket League Series World Championships. This season Throwdown are also proud to announce the return of the champions and runners up from season 2, BFC (Formerly Alpha Sydney) and Jam Gaming.

 

The last OCE Championship saw over 450,000 views of the online broadcasts and over 250 attendees of a live final event in Sydney. With exponential growth of their Leagues, Throwdown are looking forward to hosting the largest Rocket League competition to date in Australia.

Throwdown Rocket League OCE Championship kicks off with the open qualifier on Twitch August 27th at 12:00 PM AEST.

Free pre-registrations for tournaments are open now. To register and for more information you can check the Throwdown website. Matches can be watched throughout the tournament on the Throwdown Twitch channel.
